The ASU Faculty Women’s Association is pleased to announce our 2016 FWA Leadership Summit and theme, "Gaining STEAM: Women in Leadership in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM).” We will feature some of ASU’s most respected leaders in a discussion of ASU’s longstanding focus on transdisciplinary collaboration and solution-based research and education. From their diverse positions and disciplines in the university, speakers will explore how this work is making our university a leader in STEAM initiatives. They will also discuss the work of women leaders moving ASU’s STEAM initiatives forward, opportunities for faculty interested in STEAM initiatives, and the potential challenges and rewards of building a STEAM portfolio of accomplishments, grants, or initiatives.
